How Much Does a Chauffeur for a Day Cost?
A chauffeur for a day is usually priced from the chosen class and reserved hours, subject to minimums and the confirmed itinerary. At Mak Louren, an eight-hour Business Sedan calculation is $800 before gratuity and any applicable extras. It is arithmetic, not a guaranteed all-inclusive day package.
Start with the published hourly rate
The current rates, checked October 23, 2026, list Business Sedan $100/hour, Business SUV $125, First Class Sedan $150 and First Class SUV $155, each with a three-hour minimum. Business Van is $165 and Premium Stretch Limo $170, each with a four-hour minimum.
A day is not automatically eight hours. Measure from the confirmed start to finish, including waiting and stops. Ask how time beyond the booking is billed and whether an extension can be accommodated.
Use the calculation without confusing it with a quote
With an assumed eight-hour booking, Business Sedan base arithmetic is eight times $100, or $800. Business SUV is eight times $125, or $1,000. These examples use current published hourly rates but do not confirm a vehicle, itinerary or final price.
The published allowance is up to fifteen miles per booked hour. Ask how extra distance is handled and whether positioning time applies. Sedan/SUV pickups outside twenty miles of Boston may incur additional chauffeur travel time; van/limo positioning outside Boston may apply.
Check what sits outside the base calculation
Gratuity is not included. It is optional for sedans/SUVs; Business Van and Premium Stretch Limo carry a twenty percent minimum. Ask about the actual route, waiting, extended hours and other applicable quote conditions.
